The 2019 Volkswagen Jetta was named to the Wards 10 Best UX list for its superior user experience. In total, WardsAuto editors examined 25 vehicles that had added new or reengineered existing UX features for this year. The 10 winners were announced at the third annual WardsAuto User Experience Conference.
Specifically, WardsAuto editors liked the Jetta’s Digital Cockpit, central display, high-end features, BeatsAudio® premium sound-system, easy-to-use Bluetooth® phone pairing and text-to-voice messaging, and wide range of driver-assist features.
“Jetta was redesigned with the American consumer in mind,” remarked Derrick Hatami, Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and After Sales for Volkswagen of America, Inc. “It offers a host of available technology and driver assistance features designed to make people’s lives easier. We’re very encouraged to be recognized with the Wards 10 Best UX award—it means we’re getting it right.”
Every Jetta model comes standard with the MIB II infotainment system with a comprehensive collection of connected vehicle services. The Jetta is also a standout in its segment, as it is the only vehicle to offer a standard Automatic Post-Collision Braking System. Other safety features include the standard rearview camera and available features like Blind Spot Monitor, Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, and Forward Collision Warning.
